California lease FAQ

LeaseYourCar lists advertised lease specials from partner dealers. Every card is built so you can see the money before you inquire: monthly payment, due at signing, term, and miles. That full picture matters more than a low monthly payment alone.

How to read a lease card

Start with four lines:

  1. Monthly payment — what you pay each month for the advertised special (before tax unless the listing says otherwise).
  2. Due at signing — the advertised amount you owe at the start. We show one total, not a pile of add-ons that look like extra cash on top of the headline.
  3. Term — how many months the lease runs (for example 24, 36, or 39).
  4. Miles — the annual mileage allowance. Going over usually costs a per-mile charge the dealer will confirm.

If those four don’t look right for your budget, browse another listing. Don’t inquire hoping the numbers magically shrink. Advertised specials change and can expire — always confirm with the dealer on that listing.

Why “$0 down” ads often aren’t $0 to drive

Some ads scream $0 due at signing. That can be true for the advertised cash due — and still not be “drive off for free.” Tax, title, license, registration, and dealer fees are often extra. On LeaseYourCar we show the advertised monthly and due at signing on the card, then say clearly that tax and title may be extra. The dealer confirms the out-the-door total before you sign. A high due at signing is not hidden here; if the card shows thousands due at signing, that is the advertised start cost.

What “one dealer” means here

When you click Get this deal, we send your inquire to the partner dealer on that listing only. One rooftop. Not a shared lead board blasting your phone to five stores. You’ll see the chip: Shared with one local dealer — not sold to a lead board.

You’re not buying the car online. You’re asking that dealer to confirm availability and the out-the-door numbers for the deal you picked.

What we ask for (and what we don’t)

Inquire with first name, last name, mobile, and email. No Social Security number on this step. No obligation. Optional notes (timing, trade-in questions) are fine if you want them. Checking a box for similar deals is optional — unless you opt in, we only share that inquire with the matching dealer on the listing.

After you inquire

  1. You submit Get this deal.
  2. We route one local partner dealer.
  3. They contact you about availability and out-the-door numbers.

If a listing looks wrong or expired, tell us — we care more about honest numbers than a long catalog of stale ads.
